My name is Arielle Bush I am a recent graduate from OCADU living in South Western Ontario with my best friend Joe and my bunny Ho-To.
I am interested in a practice that draws upon human experience and is precipitated by an attempt to confront the incongruities of history. I am drawn to themes of female identity, domestic histories, memory, childhood, ritual and translation. My work is a medley of the vulnerability and aesthetic of wild gardens, the ephemeral quality of shadow puppets, the mystery of womanhood and the innocence and ritual of childhood.
Welcome to my sketchbook of sorts.
